The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) was created to help low-income families and individuals who are having difficulty paying their heating and cooling bills. Renters who have their heating costs included in their rent may also qualify for energy assistance.

This amazing program saves New Jersey homeowners thousands of dollars every year and will help eliminate the stress when it comes time to pay a heating or cooling bill.

The 2024 LIHEAP will reopen to the public on October 1, 2023.
